Description
Exercise function is programmable for weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
The controller monitors utility voltage and when the voltage drops below a nominal rate it initiates the following sequence of events: starts the generator, allows the generator to come up to normal operating speed for a few seconds, verifies and regulates generator voltage, and energizes the coil in the transfer switch to transfer to generator power. The process is automatically reversed when utility power returns.
